LEGO fan interviews
Our LEGO fan interviews are a chance to delve in to what makes the minds of adult LEGO fans tick. From their favourite LEGO sets to what they’re working on right now, these AFOL interviews have become more popular than we expected!
AFOL interview – Captain Mutant & his LEGO Ideas Planetary Outpost
It’s time for another AFOL interview – this time with classic space fan Captain Mutant, aka Michael.
Bricks McGee workshops on BBC Radio Leeds
What a day! I’m in the middle of running some very popular LEGO workshops for Leeds City Council and Leeds Markets, and I was asked to appear on BBC Radio Leeds to talk about the LEGO Workshops at Leeds Kirkgate Market.
AFOL interview with LEGO fan Adam White of BricksFanz.com
Adam runs long running LEGO online new website BricksFanz.com (formerly brickfans.com) – see what he’s built recently.

AFOL interview – Jonathan Loo – LEGO Space Pod designer
I came across Jonathan, like many other AFOLs, on Twitter. He was (and still is!) promoting his LEGO Ideas project, the LEGO Space Pod. I’m definitely a classic space skeptic, having never had any sets as a child (assuming Blacktron doesn’t count!), but the chromed spaceman figure in the set looks great!
LEGO fan interview: Isaac Smith (aka Smith Movies)
Our next AFOL interview is with my fellow LNUR member, Isaac Smith. Known as Smith Movies on his popular LEGO YouTube channel, this one is full of LEGO trains!
LEGO fan interview with Caz Mockett -@cazphoto
All things micropolis from Caz, a brilliant London AFOLs member.

Nowadays, he’s a full time LEGO architect with his business Brick This, and has worked with an impressive array of clients both regionally, and nationally. Based in North Shields in the North East of England, Steve’s background in architectural […]
AFOL Interview with Jonas, Serbian LEGO fan aka @BrickJonas_Hu
“I’m a LEGO fan from Serbia.” Jonas, probably better known as @BrickJonas_Hu is another talented LEGO builder I originally came across on Twitter, and loved his builds. More recently, his LEGO Factory model (a collaborative with an Italian LEGO fan) got some great traction, and was even reviewed by Huw of Brickset. Lead image: Brickset.
LEGO fan interview: Matt @MC_Survival_Man
I first came across LEGO superfan Matt (@MC_Survival_Man) on Twitter, sharing photos of some of his great Miniland-scale builds. This scale is used thoroughly throughout the LEGOLAND theme parks, and has a really distinctive look that Matt’s models manage to capture beautifully. “My name is Matt, but I go by MC_Survival_man online. I live in Dallas, TX […]
