Yorkshire Brick Show 2024 - Lewis Bird's LEGO Titanic model

Yorkshire Brick Show 2024 was back in the city of York with LEGO model displays from builders across England.

Hosted by Brickshire, the LEGO User Group for Yorkshire, Yorkshire Brick Show returned to York Racecourse for its second year at the venue.

Here’s the Bricks McGee round up of the event this year.

Our pick of LEGO models at Yorkshire Brick Show 2024

As ever, we pick a small selection of models from the event; here are our favourites from YBS this year.

Beach scene by Helen

Brickshire member Helen’s lovely LEGO beach scene really caught our eye – it was bright, colourful and full of brilliantly recreated scenes of a day at the beach. From hunting in the rock pools for crabs, to an unfortunate visit from a shark, there was a lot to see.

LEGO Titanic cutaway model by Lewis Bird

Lewis Bird's huge LEGO Titanic model at Yorkshire Brick Show 2024

Lewis is one of our model designers with LEGO bricks, but after witnessing his huge LEGO Titanic cutaway model (which we somehow missed at Bricktastic 2024), you’ll agree no bribery was required for this feature. His model shows a cutaway of the Titanic, from first class compartments to the depths of the ship. This model is complemented with lighting throughout, and more observant LEGO model builders will notice a host of nice part usage:

Thanks again to Brickshire for hosting the event, and we look forward to returning to Yorkshire Brick Show next April – fingers crossed! There are still plenty of LEGO fan events across the UK and Ireland this year, so don’t miss out and find your local event in our listings.
