What does a LEGO User Group do when they reach their tenth anniversary? Organise another LEGO show, of course! Well, that’s exactly what Brick Alley did this July to celebrate ten years of North East England’s LEGO club for adult fans with Darlington Brick Show 2025.
Held in the Dolphin Centre in Darlington town centre on 12th – 13th July 2025, Darlington Brick Show filled the venue’s sports hall with over 80 exhibitors bringing their own LEGO model displays from across the country, as well as activities and trade stands for a chance to buy LEGO figures, sets and parts.
Our selection of LEGO models from Darlington Brick Show
Here’s our selection of LEGO models on display at Darlington Brick Show this year.
Creations by the public in the play pits
The public were really creative at the show, building huge towers, pyramids and even a sailing ship from simple 2×4 bricks!
Steve & Evie’s Monsters Inc GBC module
Steve and Evie’s Monsters Inc Great Ball Contraption module was one of many stars at the event. GBCs are mechanisms which transport balls from one module to the next, and the Monsters Inc GBC module did this was great style, using the swinging doors to move balls across their display. A mechanical marvel!

Brick Alley’s birthday cake
Not exactly a LEGO module, but you can’t celebrate a 10th birthday without a huge cake! This LEGO brick cake was created by local bakery Hunnibuns. and they did a superb job representing LEGO bricks and the club’s Angel of the North logo.
