We headed across the Irish Sea for July’s Brick Feile LEGO fan event, organised by the lovely Brick.ie LEGO User Group.
Hosted at the CityNorth Hotel near Dublin in the Republic of Ireland, Brick Feile 2024 saw builders from across Europe gather for a weekend of LEGO fun and creativity, with LEGO models on display, activities including brick play pits and a giant Fairy Bricks mosaic to build.

We love a good mash up of LEGO themes, and this mashing of the Friends line with space works brilliantly. James’ LEGO Friends Space Base uses the space themed Friends sets as a starting point, adding them to a beautiful nougat landscape with the addition of some of LEGO City’s space sets too.

More model by Amanda (aka @GothGirlBricks on Instagram) really stood out, with a lit interior and 360 viewing thanks to a handy lazy Susan underneath its base enabling the model to be rotated. A spectacularly well presented LEGO model with plenty of character!
All in all, Brick Feile made for a great weekend in Dublin, raising funds for Fairy Bricks’ efforts in Ireland and worldwide. Well worth a visit when it returns in 2025; in the meantime, you can find our 2024 list of LEGO fan events in the UK and Ireland here.
