LEGO modular buildings are a sub-theme within the LEGO Creator Expert line, celebrated for their intricate designs and the ability to create detailed urban environments.
Overview of LEGO Modular Buildings
Modular buildings are designed to connect quickly, allowing builders to create expansive cityscapes by combining multiple sets. Most modular buildings follow a standard footprint (32×32 studs, though some sets such as Assembly Square are larger), facilitating seamless integration with other sets in the series. Each modular set showcases unique architectural styles and functional interiors, reflecting diverse themes such as cafes, shops, and residences. This variety encourages creativity and allows builders to customize their urban landscapes.
Unlike many traditional LEGO sets, modular buildings feature fully detailed interiors that enhance playability. Each floor is often removable, providing access to intricately designed rooms filled with furniture and accessories.
