KFOL stands for “Kid Fan of LEGO” referring to children who are enthusiastic about LEGO products, typically aged between 5 and 12 years.

This demographic is a primary target for the LEGO Group, which designs sets and themes catering to younger builders.

KFOLs are generally children aged 5-12, making them an essential part of LEGO’s marketing strategy. They are often introduced to the world of building through simple and engaging sets that encourage creativity and play.  Events like conventions often include activities specifically designed for KFOLs, allowing them to showcase their own creations (MOCs) and participate in workshops tailored to their skill level.

As KFOLs grow older, they may transition into TFOLs (Teen Fans of LEGO) and eventually AFOLs (Adult Fans of LEGO), sometimes maintaining their passion for building throughout their lives, or coming back to the LEGO hobby after their dark ages.
