As usual, a huge variety of models were on display at this long-running LEGO fan event in Hertfordshire; here are our favourites from the weekend, as picked by Alina.

Rectory Lane by Mocerhead
Andy’s Rectory Lane LEGO train layout is a fictitious station on the London Underground network.
With automated trains which stop at stations for passengers, and level crossings, the level of detail is immense, and it’s easy to get lost in the scenes built by Andy, aka @Mocerhead.
Alina says “trains are clearly the main focus of the MOC, but he did not disregard the surroundings and the buildings, in fact I had the honour to see that they’re all fully furnished and populated. ”
“Lastly it is important to mention that the 3 trains are not the only motorised elements, in fact there’s also an Essex and Herts air ambulance (which is the charity this event donates all the proceeds to) and a fully working level crossing.”
Fabuland City by Angela Dunlop
If you’re a regular reader, you know we love a bit of Fabuland, and Angela’s (@ange.lala2024) lovely Fabuland city scene certainly meets our approval. Brightly coloured houses and a street scene populated with the quirky figures meant this display was hard to miss!
As Alina says, she loves the “busy figures, all doing different things and the details. The house numbers, the rare parts such as the 2040 fence element which was only included in sets between 1987 and 1989 or the 2048 roof block which only came in 2 sets.”
