We joined LEGO fans at the Severn Valley Brick Weekend 2026 event near Kidderminster in the West Midlands.
Hosted in Highley Engine House on the brilliant Severn Valley Railway heritage railway attraction, the event is organised by LEGO UK Railway, a LEGO train club and the LEGO model displays were heavily railway flavoured! This is the third year the event has run, and the busiest to date.

There were many LEGO trains on display, plus LEGO robot combat (see our post about the Severn Valley Brick Weekend last year).
LEGO gothic church by @toms8wides
Tom is renowned for his LEGO car models, but this year he bought a new model to display – a huge gothic church built from 12000 LEGO bricks – most of them black!
Some clever integration of lighting in the model itself, plus red spotlights, helped to highlight the model’s intricacies.
Ashburton signal box by Tim Tamlin
This lovely LEGO signal box by Tim Tamlin was a great fit with the event’s theme! Ashburton signal box (based on a real signal box Cradley Heath near Birmingham) formed part of Tim’s relatively new display and featured a detailed interior too.
Locomotive on bridge by Tom (aka @aerobrix)
We featured one of Tom’s models very recently, at Supersonic Brick Show in Bristol last month, and he appears here again with a different model. This bridge scene superbly captured the moment geese are mid flight from the fury of a passing steam locomotive, all brilliantly recreated in LEGO bricks!
The next LEGO fan event the Bricks McGee are attending will be the Bricks in the Roundhouse event near Chester-le-Street.
