One of the many pleasures of building custom models from LEGO bricks is the huge variety in clients and the things we build.
Late in 2025, we were tasked with building a model of the Smáratorg Tower, Iceland’s tallest building, which also happens to house a toy store with a great selection of LEGO sets on sale.
Iceland’s tallest model of Iceland’s tallest building
Working with Kids.is Coolshop, a Danish company with 3 stores on the island, Bricks McGee created a model of the Smáratorg Tower, Iceland’s tallest building, from over 23,000 LEGO pieces.
From digital model design based on the client’s photography, to approval of the model, construction, and even installation in Iceland itself, Bricks McGee.
The model stands at 1 metre high, on is on display in the Kids.is store at the base of the tower itself – a fitting home for Iceland’s largest model of LEGO bricks.
