Discovery Brick Show - LEGO show in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK

I’m very excited to announce on behalf of Brick Alley LEGO User Group Discovery Brick Show at the brilliant Discovery Museum in Newcastle upon Tyne this coming October.

We’re offering a weekend of fun on Saturday 6th – Sunday 7th October 2018 at the museum, with a range of LEGO activities and displays.

I’ve been an AFOL for quite a while, and always dreamed of a LEGO show on my doorstep. With the Discovery Museum on board, we have a fantastic venue with free to access LEGO activities spread throughout the venue. A ticketed area will showcase some of Brick Alley and other LEGO User Group’s displays in their stunning Great Hall; a stunning venue matched only by the beautiful Block Con Hull’s Guildhall venue last year.

We’re organising LEGO brick play areas, LEGO games and plenty of LEGO displays from the best amateur LEGO modelers in the North of England and Scotland. Expect LEGO cities, railways, Technic, Ninjago, landmarks and more inspiring builds. As ever, displays and activities are liable to change up until the last moment – we rely on volunteers to help run shows and supply displays, and sometimes life gets in the way! It’s looking like a great sister show to Brick Alley’s now annual Shildon Brick Show each November.

You can find more information about the Discovery Brick Show and a link for ticket purchases on the Brick Alley website at brickalley.co.uk/discovery.

Hope to see you there!
