A huge replicate of the castle featured in Disney’s 1991 film Beauty & The Beast is going to be on display at Brick Show this October in Birmingham.

Built by Kevin Hall, the model will contain some 250,000 bricks; the towers roofs alone required around 20,000 LEGO bricks. The full model weights around 100kg (over 15 stone!), and is packed full of scenes from the film, including the famous glass-enclosed rose.
The complete model will be on display in the UK at Brick Show Birmingham NEC from Thursday 27th – Sunday 31st of October. As the UK’s largest LEGO show, it’s well worth a visit (or see my list of UK LEGO events for 2016 here). Brick Live have an offer on for tickets at the moment: four tickets for the price of three, by quoting BL43 when booking through bricklive.co.uk.
