We headed down to Bristol in South West England to catch up with Gertlug and their Supersonic Brick Show, in its first year as a two-day event.
Held at Aerospace Bristol, home to a superb aerospace museum north of Bristol, Supersonic Bricks showcased models by LEGO fan builders, plus a range of activities including mosaic building and car building with test ramps.
Our favourite models at Supersonic Brick Show 2026
As usual, here’s our selection of models built by LEGO fans at the event.
Fish and aquarium by Sarah
Sarah’s (@Sarahs.Lego.Life) aquarium showcased the elusive LEGO Forma fish, and made great use of parts to create a reefscape and backdrop. A bright, welcoming sight in the midst of the event!

Minecraft habitat cube by Kerrie Lafford
This Minecraft habitat by Kerrie was one in a series of models, but we loved the colours and composition of this Minecraft cube particularly, featuring Minecraft pandas and lots of square foliage.

Theme park by Mandy Mandynicholls78

This huge LEGO theme park was full of movement and lights at Supersonic Brick Show this year, and featured multiple working rollercoasters and theme park rides with some lovely theming.

Ryanair 737 aircraft model by @aerobrix
Tom’s (aka @aerobrix) Ryanair 737 LEGO model was a huge recreation of the real thing, and looked right at home under the wings of Concorde.

TARDIS model by @the_minfig_who
This LEGO TARDIS interior by @the_minifig_who was superb, full of texturing and details for Doctor Who fans to spot, and techniques for those who aren’t fans to enjoy.

Thanks to Gertlug and to organisers Rob, Tom and Claire for a fantastic weekend in Bristol! We’ll next be attending Severn Valley Brick Weekend in the West Midlands. See you there, LEGO fans.
