LTC, or LEGO Train Club, is a vibrant community aimed at adult fans of LEGO (AFOLs) who share a passion for building collaborative railway displays using LEGO bricks.
LEGO Train Clubs can be seen as a subset or specialisation of LEGO User Groups.
Purposes of LEGO Train Clubs
- LEGO Train Club members create large-scale railway displays that showcase intricate train models and landscapes built entirely from LEGO bricks. These displays often feature working trains, detailed scenery, and interactive elements that enhance the viewer experience.
- LTC members frequently organise and participate in exhibitions at various venues, including model train shows and LEGO conventions. These events allow members to showcase their work to the public and connect with other LEGO enthusiasts.
- LEGO Train Clubs serves as a place for members to share building techniques, tips, and tricks related to train modelling. This knowledge exchange helps improve all members’ skills and fosters a collaborative spirit.
