What better mix could you dream of than building a massive LEGO model in the National Children’s Museum?
I was lucky enough to be invited along by Steve of Brick This to help supervise the build of his Grand Central LEGO train with members of the public at Eureka! Museum in Halifax, West Yorkshire.
Composed of around 30,000 LEGO elements and at over 4 metres long, this LEGO train model was truly impressive, and lucky members of the public were selected by UK train company Grand Central to come and build the second carriage to complete the model.
Hosted in Halifax at the excellent Eureka! Museum, the workshops gave a group of children (and adults!) a chance to come and build a section or two of the second carriage to complete the model.
