We headed to the historic city of Lincoln for a weekend of LEGO fun with Brickish LEGO User Group and its Brick Lincs LEGO fan event held on 30th November and 1st December 2024 at Christ’s Hospital School on Wragby Road.
The event raises money for both Fairy Bricks and another local charity each year.
Our favourite models at Brick Lincs 2024
Here’s our round up of Brick Lincs 2024, including our usual selection of LEGO models built by fans on display.
LEGO football stadium by SNOTS County Football club
This impressive LEGO football stadium is the home of “SNOTS County” (Notts County, get it?!) Football Club, and an impressive elliptical stadium building encloses a football pitch mid-match.
Wearable LEGO Viking chainmail, shield and sword
Nicolas’ impressive Viking chainmail, sword, shield and helmet were on display – and worn around the event to entertain visitors. Nicolas certainly has the beard to with it too! Everything was built from LEGO parts, and no glue was used, adding to the impressive model – and it’s great to see something that can be worn by the exhibitor – it certainly created a lot of excitement among visitors.
We particularly love the hot air balloon pieces used to create a small pouch attached to the belt!
Congratulations to the Brick Lincs organising team, and thank you for the invite again!
