My LEGO User Group, Brick Alley, was invited to display at the National Railway Museum Shildon (Locomotion) on September 19th – 20th 2015.

The display comprised much of what I displayed at Bricktastic in Manchester, including:

  • My custom-built Newcastle Central Station (work in progress)
  • Custom built signal box
  • Custom built LEGO depot/factory unit
  • Custom built LEGO farm land, featuring crops and cattle, and a level crossing
  • LEGO City & Creator vehicles and trains

The display was part of the museum’s Steam Gala weekend, which is run annually, and we’ve been asked to display again next year, so it must have gone down well!

We’ve also been asked to create a temporary exhibition display for the museum, to be displayed from October 2015 onwards.

Display dimensions: 1.8m x 2.4m

Total approximate brick count: no idea!
